Dance Improvisation
Focus: The Joy of Movement
SUITABLE FOR NON-DANCERS AS WELL !
In this course basic steps from various dance disciplines, such as Contemporary and Modern, will be introduced in order to support the improvisation process. This arms the participants with pre-defined steps and combinations to use as building blocks for their own improvisation. Each unit consists of a theme or concept for inspiration. We will dance to a variety of music, from classical to ethnic to electronic, in order broaden our possibilities for expression.
Supple & Strong: Hips and Pelvic Floor Training
An intensive and conscientious workout using a combination of exercises from Feldenkrais, Franklin Method, Pilates and Oriental dance to awaken and strengthen the pelvic floor, as well as improve mobility in the hips. Oriental dance and pelvic floor training are natural complements.
